Biting into change - edible membrane aims to ditch plastic packaging.
In our modern times, plastic seems to have infiltrated nearly every corner, particularly within grocery stores. Virtually all the items lining the shelves of supermarkets are wrapped in plastic and trying to avoid plastic packaging, bags, and other plastic items is basically impossible.
Live the right way.
To solve this environmental challenge, I created an edible membrane that can replace regular plastic packaging for products like water, yogurt, juices, soups and other liquids. The jelly like membrane creates a sphere that holds the liquid in its center. It's strong enough to hold in your hand, yet flexible so you can bite it and enjoy a burst of flavor in your mouth. In addition, DROP comes in various sizes depending on the application.
Like your usual produce.
DROP can be bought like fruits and vegetables at grocery stores and easily carried home in paper bags.
